Ordering from TransAlert.com is safe. Every purchase you make through our secure server is guaranteed safe and secure. In the event fraudulent charges are ever made, you will not have to pay for them. See guarantee details below.
Why is it safe to shop on TransAlert.com?
Our secure server uses 128-bit SSL encryption technology to ensure that your transactions are not compromised. Your entire order is encrypted when you submit it to us. Before it leaves your computer, the encryption takes place, ensuring safe transit to our server. This includes your credit card number as well as name and address. This encryption is certified by (Thawte Consulting/Verisign). In addition to encrypting your order, we process your information on a server that is not accessible via the Internet.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act you are not liable for more than $50.00 (U.S. funds) of fraudulent charges. In the unlikely event that you are subject to such fraud, it is in your best interest to first contact your credit card issuer in accordance with their reporting rules and procedures. If, for whatever reason, you are held responsible for this amount, TransAlert.com will cover your total liability, up to $50.00 (U.S. funds) as long as the fraudulent use of the credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made from TransAlert.com while using our secure server.
